Chairman’s Comments – Dr. Glen Harris
I have been thinking a lot about the value of the “Fertilizer Industry” to the overall Georgia economy lately. I read in one of the articles about Dean (of UGA College of Ag) Scott Angle’s retirement that Georgia’s Ag Industry as a whole is worth $72 billion a year! You hear all the time that the cotton industry is worth this much, vegetables this much, even blueberries. So how much are we worth?
